Who we are
PixelRival Flag Race ("Flag Race", "we") is a live game on the YouTube channel @PixelRival-gaming. It is run by Paballo Nkuna. You can contact us at paballonkuna1@gmail.com.
YouTube API Services
Flag Race uses YouTube API Services. By using Flag Race you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy describes how Google handles data.
Flag Race never asks you to sign in with your Google account, so it has no access to private data in your account. If you want to review or revoke the access any app has to your Google account, use Google's security settings page.
What we access
We use the YouTube Data API to read public information only:
- Live chat of our own live broadcasts: the text of each message, the time it was sent, and the author's public display name and channel ID. If a viewer sends a Super Chat, also its amount and currency.
- Public comments on our own videos: the comment text, the author's public display name, the comment ID and the time.
- Details of our own videos: title, whether it is live, and its live chat ID. This is not personal data.
How we use it
- To run the game: a message that names a country scores points for that country's flag, and the sender's display name is shown next to the flag. We allow one scoring message per viewer every two seconds.
- To greet a viewer by name the first time they chat that day.
- To reply to comments on our videos.
- To improve the game: we read the messages the game did not understand, so we can teach it new country names and spellings.
We do not use this data for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
What we store, and for how long
| Data | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Event log: time, channel ID and display name of a chatter, the text of messages the game did not understand (cut to 80 characters), and records of Super Chats | Our server | 30 days, then deleted |
| List of channel IDs that chatted today, to greet first-time chatters | Our server | One day |
| IDs of comments we have already replied to, so we never reply twice | Our server | 30 days, then deleted |
| Scores per country | Our server | Not personal data; kept while the game runs |
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We process it on a server that we operate.
To write short replies to public comments on our videos, the text of the comment is sent to DeepSeek, an AI service provider, which returns the reply. The game's spoken commentary during the live stream is written from country names and scores only: it does not include viewers' names or messages.
Your choices
Chat messages and comments are public on YouTube. If you want us to delete the data we hold about your channel ID or display name, email us at paballonkuna1@gmail.com and we will do it within 30 days. You can also delete your own messages and comments on YouTube.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use data, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect. By chatting on a Flag Race live stream you agree to this policy.
